B.Sc/ HND in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Minimum of 3 years’ experience handling PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, automation, and control equipment within maintenance department
Possesses active will to achieving set goals and promoting strong team spirit with the team members across the organization.

As an Automation Engineer, you will:

Conduct installation, configuration, commissioning and repair of electrical system, electrical panels, Programmable Logic Controls -PLC (Wiring & programming) Variable Frequency Drives -VFD, SCADA, Torch screen / HMI- Design & configuration; mechanical drives (gear boxes, agitators, pumps etc) and so on while adhering to safety codes and regulations.
Ensure that production machineries and equipment are well maintained, and any electrical, electromechanical, instrumentation, automation and controls breakdowns on production equipment are resolved in a timely manner. To carryout preventive maintenance on production equipment
Document maintenance and repair activities and keeping log of all instrument and automation parameters of production equipment
Conduct the root cause analysis on various electrical and electro mechanical, instrumentation, controls and automation faults and document them.
Be responsible for electrical, electromechanical, instrumentation, automation and controls on production equipment
Be responsible for optimal running of process and packaging machines
